Benq

The E720, which was lasts year most “pocketable” camera, manages to achieve a chic look, which is build from an anti-oxidized, moisture resistant aluminum. Like the most of the ultra compact cameras, the BenQ E720 includes a whole bunch of features like a shake-free mode, 13-scene modes for quick setting adjustments, and continuous movie recording with optical zoom. Also, the High ISO Portrait Mode supports high sensitivity (ISO) up to 1200 to ensure clear photos in dark environment. It is easy for you to capture well-exposed photos when there exist many bight and dark objects in the scene.
BenQ 720 captures photos in two modes, 3:2 resolution mode or 16:9 wide mode. The 3:2 standard mode is convenient for easy printing without trimming the edges of the composition. The wide 16:9 mode is the perfect mode for direct display on a 16:0 television set. The Pentax lens with super multi coating offers crisp clear images.

The sleek E820, successor to the BenQ E720, arrives with a 8.0 megapixel CCD image sensor, 3x optical zoom, Pentax lens and a bright 2.5-inch LTPS display. Furthermore, the camera is equipped with direct printing mode, continuous movie recording with optical zoom, 13 scene modes and 3:2 and 16:9 special output sizes; 3:2 resolution mode for easy printing without trimming edges; 16:9 resolution mode for direct display on a 16:9 TV making the E820 an all-round, highly versatile high-performance camera.

The E820 also features a face-tracking function and comes embedded with creative photo frames for photo decoration.
Compared to E720, it has a new movie size: 720 x 400 (16:9) at 30 fps, higher ISO settings: 800 and 1000, the rest of the settings remaining the same for the new 8MP camera. What I like most about both of them is the manual shooting mode. It’s hard to find such a slim and stylish compact camera equipped with manual shooting options.
BenQ E820 digital compact camera is bundled with 6MB built-in memory and is Secure Digital card compatible, which is the cheapest and most reliable memory storage, easy to replace any time. Also, it supports PictBridge function which provides direct printing via any PictBridge-enabled printer.

Benq DC C530 is not one of the most stylish digital cameras developed by BenQ, but you can choose to purchase the “toy” in Black, Blue, Red, or White skin color. It’s very, very lightweight. Compared to the new cameras on the market, this 5 megapixel camera can record movies only at 320 x 240. The LCD screen is also not as big as new ones, but I don’t consider that a problem. It features High ISO Mode for low light conditions and anti shake function, while the picture quality is acceptable. This could be a nice joyful gift for talented kids.

Benq DC C500 comes with a standard one year warranty battery included that has a long life, but it’s difficult to find replacement battery. It takes about 1.5 seconds to power on for shooting. Normally, this compact digital camera takes photos at 5 megapixels with the possibility to obtain even 7 megapixel images. But, it only has a 4x digital zoom and no optical one, and, the 7MP pictures have a bad quality – are filled up with noise. By shooting against the light, you’ll get flare in your image and purple fringing. The C500 is a stylish lightweight pocket camera with reasonable image quality, but not many features and possibilities, good to consider a nice gift for kids.

You now read about the world’s slimmest 7-megapixel camera with a 3.0” touch panel display.
Not only has just beaten the “slim” record (previously award was for Casio Elixim models), but its sleek stainless steel edged body also comes in three colors destined to attract: Cool Silver, Midnight Black, Vixen-Red, Pearl White. The large LCD covers almost completely the back of the camera and before you ask where the buttons are, remember this is a touch screen.
Features include: fun photo frame and stamp options, S.S.F. (Super Shake-Free) system which helps stabilize your images when your hands shake the camera. The T700 also supports high ISO value: ISO 4000 in movie recording move and ISO 1200 in photo mode, letting you better capture fast-moving objects or taking photos in low light conditions, but be aware of the high noise at these settings.

BenQ comes with an innovation in the digital camera technology: the 3D-rotating lens (an upgrade to the E-600), able to perform zoom in & out at a faster speed than conventional lenses. Other differences from what we know about the usual camera functions include the fact that for the Panoramic Focus Mode, instead of pressing half way down from the shutter to focus, DC E605 does that all for you. More usual features: Shake-Free function (available in Sports mode) that allows you to take clear shots in low light, avoiding motion blur. Benq E605 also comes with Easy Dial User Interface, which, among the slim and stylish design (measures just under an inch thick), make an attractive pocket digital camera. USB 2.0 Hi-Speed interface, TV out: Audio / Video output ( NTSC/PAL) and PictBridge connectivity supported.
