Described as a “point and shoot for true-to-life photos†compact digital camera, Photosmart E427 is easy to use, slim, stylish, easily fits in pockets and affordable. All the settings revert to automatic every time you switch off the camera, but this is something seen in other camera brands too. What I really didn’t like about it is the absence of optical zoom, few in-camera effects (no stabilisation) and few shooting modes. The new HP E427 features HP Photo Share, which allows users to easily email photos without attachments; also, it comes with software solutions for editing, organizing, printing and sharing digital photos. PictBridge and USB connectivity are present on this digicam, but viewfinder not.

It can also shot at ISO 50. Unfortunately, it can happen only in automatic mode. Camera will chose ISO 50 when it’s day, even cloudy. In this case, in cloudy day, exposure time is about 1/70 s. (I have tested). Movies are 30 fps, not 24 (it is written in instruction and i have checked this, too). This camera makes really good photos: good colours, only minor noise in most cases.
