Nikon Coolpix S10 Digital Camera Review

Coolpix S10 makes some significan’t improvements over its predecessor, the Coolpix S4, adding image stabilization, a stronger flash, a sharper LCD, and more. The lens doesn’t extend or retract – it rotates 270 degrees relative to the monitor screen, and the camera comes with a lens cover to protect it when not in use.

Its a stylish design of this metal digicam from Nikon that fits every pocket but feels too little in big hands. Since this lens is bigger than on other compact cameras, fewer optical distortions and aberrations are to be seen on the images.

Too bad it does not have manual controls; otherwise I would love this camera: excellent image quality, 10x optical zoom, vibration reduction, D-Lighting, Face-priority AF, In-Camera Red-Eye Fix, One-touch portrait button, 15 Scene modes and Pictmotion features. When using high zoom, however, the camera focuses very slow.
