Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS HSM lens, promised to be launched before, finally comes on the market with some delay.
It features the HSM motor at no extra charge, plus Sigmas own unique OS (Optical Stabilizer) function. This function uses two sensors inside the lens to detect vertical and horizontal movement of the camera and works by moving an optical image stabilizing lens group, to effectively compensate for camera shake. Available for Nikon AF-D and Canon dSLR. The new lens is priced at £439.99.

The description you have for Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC OS HSM Lens then has two options at the bottom with prices from Amazon.com. Both of your examples, for $329 are not for the OS version once you get to Amazon. Am I wrong? A friend wants me to order the OS, but I don’t want to steer him in the wrong direction with the $329.00 model.
